Angelica Root, known as the herb of holy grail, has a pleasant perfume like fragrance. Once believed to be the protector of the plague, angelica root is used in magick for protection and to ward against evil spirits. Angelica root is named after St. Michael and is known to bloom every spring on St. Michael's day.
USES: Angelica root as an offering to Archangel Michael during ritual or prayer, carry in an aromatic herbal sachet for peace, or burn in a loose incense blend to connect with your spirit guides.
As an herbal medicine, angelica root is used to reduce fever with chills, increase blood flow, alleviate menstrual cramps and pain, aid with menopausal symptoms, soothe abdominal aches, relieve headaches, and act as an aphrodisiac.
